Sensory experience

Domaine Mira Luna

In the heart of Provence, in a hilly landscape where the earth takes a shade of red ochre hue, lies a place steeped in mystery and charm. Mira Luna estate is part of the historic Miraval estate and extends over nearly 100 hectares of rolling Provencal garrigue and pine and oak forest in the heart of which we cultivate our vineyards and olive trees.

This exceptional terroir allows the grape varieties to express themselves frankly and fully, producing wines that are fresh, aromatically complex and perfectly balanced.

Harvest & Winemaking

Each step of the obtaining of our wines is carefully orchestrated to capture and offer you the quintessence of Nature.

Vendanges manuelles au Domaine Mira Luna

Our grapes are harvested plot by plot at peak ripeness, after tasting by our oenologist and checking the sugar/acidity balance. Harvesting is done manually at night, with pressing in the early morning when temperatures are still cool.

Each plot is harvested and extracted separately.

The grapes are carefully sorted and gently pressed in whole bunches, and only the first fraction obtained by pressing is then transferred to different containers (amphorae, demi-muids, stainless steel vats) for each cuvée.

After vinification and ageing, the best cuvées are carefully selected by our talented oenologist to be blended and create our wine with precision and high standards.

Mira Luna Blanc Rolle élevé en amphore 2024

A reinvented Rolle for a ‘haute couture’ wine

Mira Luna Blanc Rolle élevé en amphore 2024

For this signature wine of remarkable complexity and finesse, we chose to reinvent the Rolle, Provence's emblematic grape variety, by blending a wide variety of cuvées by plot and ageing vessel:

  • Plot-by-plot harvesting and pressing: two plots with different exposures and slightly different stages of ripeness
  • Vinification and ageing in different containers: stainless steel for a fresh and direct cuvée, amphora for an authentic and elegant expression of Rolle's aromatic bouquet, two types of new French oak demi-muids with light toasting
  • And finally, creation of a signature single-varietal wine through a precise blending of different plot and ageing container cuvées.
